Patchwork of the Hilltop Village

Lacoste is overwhelmingly open with its vast views as if existing within a painting. This Fall collection is meant to attract individuals who seek adventure and act on their spontaneity. Influenced by the mosaic motifs here within Lacoste and neighboring towns, I have created a collection of patterns that are meant to be worn on free flowing garments such as light weight scarves, maxi dresses, and other clothing with a dance like quality. Clothes that are meant to be live in with patterns reminiscent of local architecture alongside organic forms of medieval symbols.

Floral Frenzy

Inspired by the thistle flower, I sought to capture its explosive spikes and prickly stems through a simple yet chaotic mark making tactic. This design emphasizes the flower’s protective nature, symbolizing strength in beauty. Using watercolor and colored pencils, I created motifs arranged in half-drop repeat using Adobe Photoshop and Procreate. The thistle’s natural defense mechanism resonates with my own journey towards independence and self-reliance.

Crystal Bay

From the glass like water to the towering pines, Lake Tahoe has become the definition of a sweet life in my eyes. Tasked with creating 20 abstract crouqui designs that show transition and story, I decided to share one of my favorite days on this trip which began with swimming and ended with hiking to the most incredible view.

Summers in Jersey

Hand painted with an incredible amount of love for Warren County and the people that I call home. This scarf design highlights the activities and traditions shared with friends and family. The summer is for tubing down the Delaware River and finding any excuse to have a bonfire. As a whole, symbolizing our continuous exploration of both the familiar and the forgotten, celebrating the joy of discovery while being immersed within the hills and valleys of the country side.
